How to fix the Network adapter icon is missing from the Network and Sharing Center



Here is a hot issue again on the icon for your network adapter is missing from the network and sharing center. But you can still see the adapter in Device Manager and can access the Internet without any problems although an X (cross) Red in the notification area.

Even if you uninstall and reinstall the drivers NIC (network interface card), however, will not resolve any problems that arise.
If you have problems like this, please follow the steps below to resolve it.
Make sure the registry key (Registry key) is not lost following:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Network\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\{759F6019-7C4A-44BD-A9EC-7DC5393874C3}\Connection
Valuename: "Name" Type: REG_SZ If missing, create it with the value "Local Area Connection"

Valuename: "DefaultNameIndex" Type: REG_DWORD If missing, create it with the value "0".

Valuename: "DefaultNameResourceId" Type: REG_DWORD If missing, create value "0x70b".

Make sure the following settings are correct:
  1. "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ AppID \ {27AF75ED-20D9-11D1-B1CE-00805FC1270E}", the default value is 'netman', and subkeynya:
  2. Valuename: LocalService 
    Value 'netman'
  3. Component Services> Computers> My Computer> DCOM Config> "Netman" -> Security tab -> Open "Launch and Activation Permissions" -> edit, add 'LOCAL SERVICE' with 'Local Launch' and 'Local Activation' terconteng. add 'NETWORK SERVICE' with 'Local Launch' and 'Local Activation' terconteng "

  1. Reboot your server after making the change.
